A bloody Tulip

A very old story,
Of a man and flower,
In a garden dreary,
Where hearts break and shatter,

Composed in his garden,
A lovely blood tulip,
A blessing and burden,
For anyone to keep,

Someone once tried to pluck,
The man rage and dislike,
To grow it is no luck,
Had to kill with a pike,

The flower is darling,
As he is lonely being,
Then it is withering,
The man cried and dying.
