Every night exactly at ten,
Two questions popped out,
Should I sleep,
Or should I not,
Every night exactly ten minutes later,
I made two wishes,
Kill me now,
Wake me up tomorrow,
Every night exactly ten minutes later,
I still have to decide,
To greet your morning,
Or give you time,
Every night exactly thirty minutes past ten,
I contemplate on my life,
The done stupidity,
Future possibilities,
Every night exactly an hour after ten,
I was still awake asking,
Should I sleep,
Or should I not.
To be honest, I still have a lot more to say because this piece have a lot more potential. Perhaps, I should have spend my day writing more than watching Brooklyn Nine Nine. Right now, the only song that keeps repeating is this one. Its been a long time since I listen to it.
Love this song! Chicago had some really great stuff! Perhaps you should go straight to bed at ten o’clock!!

I agree Ally, this poem has potential! The repetitive of the time and how it’s almost like it’s counting down gives an ominous aura. There’s a spark of something very powerful in this piece.

Thanks, Jade. I feel the same thing too. It was quite late when I was writing it, so I didn’t really put too much thoughts…
