Welcome to Write Ally! Write! a place dedicated to expressing my creative side and observation in life. I am Ally L, a writer, and poet based in Malaysia.

I believe I am not the only one that has been touched by the mesmerizing words, forms, and structures in poetry. After reading classic poems in an English class at school, I feel like I found a gold mine. I am in awe of how some poems can be written vividly, and dramatically, and some are filled with twists that tickle my brain. Then, I decided to try and pen my thoughts into poetry. It never stops, ever since.

Apart from that, I realized that I am a keen observer. Is it considered a talent to be able to sit somewhere quietly and enjoy every second the time passes? Or is it the so-called art of ‘not doing anything’? Regardless, I’m good at it and I do share my observation on life here.
